There has been some discussion about the fuel consumption of the big Jags with many not believing how economical they can be. Video was taken on recent trip to UK on the motorway heading for Dover. The first part just shows the variations in consumption at steady speed with cruise control. Bit out of focus but TomTom is reading 78 mph GPS, the speedo is in km's and steady at 130 indicated. Later in the video the summary screens are displayed (again in miles). The trip has covered 99.2 miles doing 26.7 mpg at an average 64.1 mph. On the undulations of this section of motorway the consumption varies between 20 and 29 mpg, the view keeps switching from dashboard to road so that the effect of inclines can be seen. Better than you'd expect for a 4 liter automatic of 1995 vintage!
